Biography

I discovered yoga about 10 years ago in Singapore where I lived 13 years and has practiced several different styles, especially alignment yoga such as Iyengar yoga.

I am E-RYT500(Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher) and YACEP(Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider).I now resonates most with alignment based hatha yoga, also vinyasa flow yoga with alignment and enjoy a regular practice of Iyengar yoga, as well as FRC (Functional Range Conditioning).

I’ve completed a 200-Hr Teacher Training ( Anusara inspired) as well as 200-Hr Ashtanga yoga and Hatha based 500-Hr Teacher Training (Sutra, Pranayama, Prenatal yoga, therapeutic yoga, Kundalini yoga) in 2013-2014. I have also done several advanced Teacher Trainings with great teacher. Also I would like to say thank you to Iyengar Yoga teacher Trisno Widiyanto, Vicki Vollmer and Carrie Owerko. I’m passionate about studying and practicing Iyengar yoga with many wonderful Iyengar yoga teachers.

I certified FRC Mobility Specialist [FRCms].

I feel that yoga is a practice that is suitable for everyone. I find a sense of fulfillment and achievement when my students’ practice improves and they develop a love for yoga. I hope to share the benefits of yoga with more people. I also believe in eating healthy, breathing deeply and being happy + SMILE!

I teach alignment-based yoga with precision and patience. I love the practice and being able to share it. I often use the method of CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations) to think about the capacities of each one of our bodies. I use many props, also chairs and wall during the class. I appreciate Iyengar practice.

I teach in Italian, English and Japanese.

I was born Hiroshima in Japan and grew up in Yokohama, Tokyo and Kobe. I lived in Cambridge in England for study, in Lugano and in Singapore. Now I’m in Arzo (a part of Mendrisio) in Switzerland.
